Theme Park Concessions and Ride Access - Information from the CAN Network CAN has produced a document that outlines the various Concessions offered by local theme parks and the ID required to access these, as well as the Ride Access/Exit Pass Schemes. In general, you will see on the document that more and more of the parks ( Thorpe Park and Legoland) are requesting a letter from a GP or Consultant in order to access the Ride Access/Exit Pass Schemes which stipulates the child’s condition and why the child finds queuing difficult. Unfortunately some GPs are charging parents for these letters and this is something that is being looked at by CAN and REACH Wokingham in an attempt to get this cost reduced or removed. Some of the parks, (Paultons and Legoland) will accept a letter from the CAN Network outlining what the child’s condition is and why he or she finds queuing difficult, please contact CAN for this free service. Click here for the document. (added 09.11.11)
