NHS Health Trainer Service Berkshire West NHS offer a free health trainer service providing one to one support for people who want to make healthy life style changes. It also aims at reducing health inequalities by improving people’s access to health services. They will be holding an event on Wednesday 9th March at the Reading Council Chambers, 10am-2pm to celebrate the 1st anniversary of their service. The event will include speakers, feedback from their Partners and Service Users, light refreshments and a chance to look at the stands and displays. Juice! Juice are drop-in health clinics designed by young people, for young people aged 11-19years. These weekly clinics are run by a group of friendly, dedicated specialist nurses and youth workers at Wokingham Hospital on Thursdays, 3.30-5.30pm and Bulmershe Youth Centre on Mondays, 3.30-5.30pm. Learning Disability Co-ordinator - Jane Wooldridge is the Learning Disability Co-ordinator at the Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust. Her role is to make sure that patients with a learning disability are properly looked after when getting a service from the Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust.
