ASD Family Help Social Activities for Children, Young People & Adults with an ASD
1. Age Under 5 - Bowling for 1 hour includes 1 soft drink (not cans) - cost to participants = £3 2nd Saturday of the month (starting Saturday 11th February 2012) 10am to 11.30am at Wokingham Superbowl http://www.wokinghamsuperbowl.com/
2. Ages 5+ to 8 - Bowling (1 game) and Laser Quest (1 game) includes 2 soft drinks (not cans) cost to participants = £5 Participants must be able to access Activities in a small group (i.e. 1 adult to 3 children) Alternate Wednesdays, (starting Wed 11th Jan 2012) 4pm to 6pm at Wokingham Superbowl http://www.wokinghamsuperbowl.com/

Note - Activities 1 to 4 above will not take place during School holidays.
Important Information
1. Parents must stay in the building for children under the age of 11years
2. The staff 'funding' is for 1 adult to 3 children, therefore it is open to those able to access a Social Activity in a small group setting (Average group size is 8 ) - a trial session may be required to ensure the group dynamics work well.
3. Your address is within Wokingham Borough i.e. you pay your Council Tax to Wokingham Borough Council
4. Places must be booked through ASD Family Help via contact@asdfamilyhelp.org - Places will be allocated on a 1st-come-1st-served basis, providing the applicants meet the criteria.

ASD Family Help Exclusive Use Bowling and Laser Quest Evening - Saturday 7th January We have booked the entire Big Apple venue for our sole use from 7pm to 11pm, this means unlimited bowling and/or laser quest and full use of the centre. For families with younger children an earlier start time of 6pm can be requested when booking. The cost is £3 each or £10 per family and payment is required in advance. ASD Family Help Evening Drop-In & Coffee We have been very kindly offered good facilities within Woodley C of E Primary School to use on a Wednesday evening. Initially we will be taking up this offer once a month, from 7-8.30pm, where parents/Carers (sorry no children) can drop in an have a coffee/chat with ASD Family Help Volunteers. Dates: Wednesday 7th December Time: 7pm to 8.30pm Venue: Woodley C of E Primary School, Hurricane Way, Woodley, Berkshire, RG5 4UX http://www.woodley-pri.wokingham.sch.uk/ No need to book, just turn up at Reception and you will be directed to our room.
Berkshire Autism Alert Card now available in Wokingham Borough Following the launch in Wokingham on Friday 11th June card applications are now being accepted. The cards are available free of charge to anyone with an Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) subject to required proof being sent. The card can be shown if an individual finds themselves in a situation where they cannot easily explain their behaviour and gives some simple advice, the person’s name and emergency contact details. The cards are being distributed by Berkshire Autistic Society, they will also supply free information leaflets, posters, window stickers and advice on request. ASD Family Help Male Carers Social Evenings We are the only local group offering a social event for male carers. We have now hosted 7 bowling evenings at The Big Apple Wokingham. Cost is £5.90 per person for 2 games.
