The LINk has been set up by the government to give people the chance to say what they think about local health and social care services. They can help you bring about small changes to the way your health and social care is delivered and influence big changes.

Support Group for Mums

If your child receives support in any capacity from the Learning Difficulties and Disabilities Service, there is a NEW support group running for mums with children (under 18 years) with any additional need. The aim of the group is to provide fun and enjoyable activities in a supportive and friendly environment – a chance to have some valuable ‘me’ time.

There is also a support group for single mums. This group have met up several times over the last year doing a variety of things from going out to a Greek Meal to Clay Pigeon Shooting. It has always been fun and anyone interested in joining would be very welcome.
